Visiprise CEO Recognized as Top 50 Entrepreneur

ATLANTA, GA - September 7, 2005 — Visiprise, Inc., a recognized leader in helping manufacturers manage and control global operations to improve quality and compliance, announced today that President and CEO Sean McCloskey has earned a spot on CATALYST magazine’s prestigious "Top 50 Entrepreneurs" list. CATALYST’s annual list highlights the leaders of metro Atlanta companies with impressive "numbers" and proven "performance."

The CATALYST "Top 50 Entrepreneurs" list appears in the July 2005 issue of the magazine and honors those entrepreneurs "who represent the spirit, hard work and success" needed in today’s business world. McCloskey is responsible for driving the success of Visiprise’s transformation from a company with a point solution to one that is delivering a next-generation manufacturing platform to blue-chip clients such as Philips Lighting, Sun Microsystems and Rolls-Royce.

To make the list, companies had to be nominated and then had to make available to the publication’s research partner The Reznick Group sales revenues for 2002, 2003 and 2004. The Reznick Group verified and evaluated the revenue-growth performance based on three periods of time – 2003 over 2002, 2004 over 2003, and 2004 over 2002. From this, the CATALYST Top 50 was selected. Visiprise averaged a 38 percent sales-revenue-growth performance over the three years evaluated.

This recognition comes to McCloskey after 14 years of technology leadership. As an entrepreneur and lawyer he has been intimately involved in the software and telecommunications industries since the early 1990s. Before co-founding Visiprise, McCloskey was a corporate lawyer for Weil, Gotshal and Manges, a New York-based international law firm, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, public securities offerings, and venture capital financing. McCloskey earned a bachelor’s in economics from Boston College and graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
